About our name
An educational community created to recognize diversity.
Why Floresta de Vida?
Floresta de Vida began with a question shared by five families: is it possible to build a school where diversity is not an exception to address, but a reality education is prepared for from the start?
A multidisciplinary team joined this effort. Together, we understood that being inside a classroom does not necessarily mean being included: inclusion requires belonging, participating, learning, and having real opportunities to progress.
Our name expresses that conviction and our commitment to providing appropriate support without losing sight of learning goals or each student’s potential for development.

Mission and vision
Our mission
To provide inclusive, high-quality education that recognizes each student’s diversity through accessible, meaningful, and academically challenging experiences in an environment of respect, belonging, and close support.
Our vision
To be a leading inclusive educational community that demonstrates that diversity, academic quality, and well-being can coexist within one educational model.
Our community
We understand education as a shared endeavor. Every member contributes through distinct, complementary responsibilities that foster learning, participation, well-being, and autonomy.
Families as partners
We maintain close, respectful, and transparent communication to share observations, progress, and needs and to build agreements that support the educational pathway.
Collaborative and interdisciplinary work
The lead teacher retains pedagogical responsibility and collaborates with the Neurodevelopment and Inclusion Specialist and other professionals when needed.
An environment for learning and well-being
Green spaces, the garden, art, movement, play, and exploration extend experiences beyond the classroom with a clear educational purpose.
Students with a voice
We help each student recognize how they learn, express what they need, ask for support, and progressively participate in decisions and responsibilities.
Accompany without replacing means providing support that strengthens both student and teacher, reviewing it regularly, and reducing it when greater autonomy becomes possible.
